J.K. Transport & Logistics Pvt.Ltd formerly known as J.K.Transport traces its roots to J.K. Transport Service which used to operate since last 30 years by Mr Kedarnath Mishra. His 2nd son, J.K. Mishra , the Managing Director of J.K Transport & Logistics Pvt.Ltd. used to assist his father ever since he was 20 years old, learning the tricks of the trade the hard way, spending much of the time in field, on road, with drivers, under the chassis, attending meeting with valuable clients, with associates and also with bankers. His association with his father lasted for 5 years from 1982 to 1987. In search of his own identity and not to rest on the laurels of his father, he then branched out to his own venture under various names catering to various logistics ventures like Railway bookings and deliveries through courier service, express transport service between Mumbai and Chennai and finally in 1995 he decided open a small office at Andheri which used to double up as office and godown. Some of the initial clients were garment exporters and servicing them promptly as per their strict shipping schedules became the hallmark of the service standard from the start itself. Constantly under pressure from clients the hard way, like TVS Group, JK has learnt the value of timely and safe service and it is this satisfaction which gives us confidence that we ensure the goods from our valued clients is delivered from Mumbai to Chennai within 48 hours at very moderate charges. Slowly the name of J.K Transport came to be known as the powerful figure in the transport name and it became a force to reckon with in delivering from Mumbai to Chennai South Market within 48 hours by road consistently over a long period of time. JK Transport is not resting on its laurels and it has developed its line of vehicle including 16 Tons trucks, 8 Ton and 5 Ton vehicles.
